Al Akhawayn University
Al Akawan University is located in the picturesque European town of Evland in the middle of the Atlas Mountains. It was founded by the Royal Dahir in 1993 and officially taken over by the former King Hassan II of Morocco on January 16, 1995. King Fahd of Saudi Arabia provided significant funding during the early establishment of the university, hence the Arabic word "Al Akhawayn" means "two brothers" and aims to indicate that the university was jointly founded by two different kings.
Akawayn University is one of the top universities in Morocco, renowned for its Anglo American education system and beautiful campus environment. The campus architecture style is European and elegant, and strolling through it feels like being in a small European town. The language of instruction for university courses is English, and the university's advantageous majors include humanities, social sciences, science and engineering, and business management.
